NIGHTLIFE HOTSPOTS IN GOA
Goa is known for its beaches and slow paced life. Ironically, with beaches, it also managed to build a reputation with the party scene and an interesting night life. The nightclubs have a good ambience, beautiful lighting not forgetting interesting music. Some of the nightclubs are popular pop discos where the tourists can dance the night away. Some of the nightlife hotspots in the state are:
Tito’s Nightclub
Tito’s is located in the Baga village. It is one of the popular and famous nightclubs in the North of Goa. Mambo and Del Mar are also part of the Tito’s Nightclub chain. Located in the northern part of Baga Beach, Tito’s has two levels. On the first level is the dance floor and on the second level tourists and visitors can sit and watch the happenings on the dance floor. It has its own bar which is famous for its cocktails and amazing European and Goan cuisine.
The club has karaoke on some of the evenings. Theme parties like ‘The Jungle’ and ‘Pirates’ are held regularly. The Nightclub also receives plenty of visitors and guests.
Nyex Beach Club
This club is close to the beach in Anjuna and offers a good view of the beach from the second floor. It is a chic place to hang out. It has dining areas indoors and outdoors over 3 levels. The bottom floor has the outdoor lounge, deck and the stage. The VIP lounge is on the middle floor and the top floor holds the indoor club. The club is the place for sundowner parties and is open until 4 am. There are a lot of music festivals held here.
HILL TOP
It is on top of the Vagator Hill. This is the place for parties with a lot of trance music. Hill Top is an open-air venue that has been functioning since the 1970s. It hosts artists from around the globe. There are neon lights on palm trees and interesting art installations to give the place a festive look. Every Sunday parties begin at 4 pm and go up to 10 pm.
CAVALA
This hotspot in Baga has live music all the year round. There is jazz, rock and roll, retro, and blues to keep guests entertained while they enjoy a cool drink and lovely fresh seafood. This place has been open since 1979 in a heritage home with garden and bar in the courtyard. It attracts foreigners as well as Indians. Friday night is the night of the biggest party with awesome seafood. Four days of the week are reversed for retro music.
BOOMERANG BEACH BAR
This bar is located in Colva in South Goa, about 10 kms from the Margao bus stand. They have live music to entertain guests while enjoying the sea-food. They have nice starters and cocktails too. The place is ideal to enjoy dinner while listening to soothing music. It offers good food at all times of the day, at very reasonable prices.
